Easter Egg Hunt for Adults: 5 Eggstra Special Ideas

Easter has to be everyone’s favourite time of year. Even though it’s normally associated with kids it’s the one time of the year where we can over-indulge in chocolate and sweets and not feel guilty about it.

But if you’re not a fan of chocolate eggs or you’re not particularly keen on scouring a garden for them then don’t worry, we’ve got a selection of fun Easter games you can try that are specifically for adults!

The Blindfolded Egg Pursuit

To start off our list of Easter egg hunt ideas for adults, we have the Blindfolded Egg Pursuit. This game involves two teams of two, so it doesn’t require a lot of people to play which makes it easy to setup.

First you hide eggs around a room and then one person is chosen from each team, they’re then spun around with a blindfold on and with that blindfold still over their face they have to find the eggs that you’ve hidden away.

The Blindfolded Egg Pursuit is always hilarious to watch, although you may want to store away any breakable objects just in case a blindfolded player knocks them over.

The Midnight Egg Chase

Next up we have the Midnight Egg Chase. This thrilling event involves players hunting for eggs that are hidden away in the darkness and the team that that finds the most, wins.

You can give your players torches to make things easier, or if you want to really challenge your guests you could conceal the eggs in clever or difficult to reach places.

The Guess My Egg Head Game

This is a great ice breaker and it’s essentially the Easter equivalent of 20 questions as players take it in turns to guess the character strapped to the heads.

To start off you need to cut out an egg shape in card then lay the picture of various geeks inside it with glue or tape. You then attach these to various players’ heads and they take it in turn trying to guess the person strapped to their heads.

The Get Eggstremely Drunk Game

This brilliant game involves filling up a range of colourful plastic eggs with alcohol and hiding them around your house. Each eggshell can contain any drink you like and the goal is to find as many of these eggs as you can and drink their contents when you find them.

To add to the game you could add a few forfeits for players to choose should they chicken out of drinking their eggs contents. You can pick up your coloured plastic eggs here, all that’s left is to stock up on alcohol and you’re good to go.

Please be sure to drink responsibly, though!

The Hard Core Egg Hunt

For anyone that enjoys a good egg hunt, you will find that the Hardcore Egg Hunt is something that’s right up your alley. This game takes the standard hunt and takes up a couple of notches as you make the whole ‘capture the egg’ event more challenging by adding trivia, riddles and difficult clues to egg locations.

If you really want to hatch a master plan you could create a game that involves GPS coordinates for eggs across multiple locations. If you find yourself struggling to come up with a challenging hunt, here’s one someone made earlier.

But, if you’re not sold on any of those suggestions, then try checking out a couple of fun promotions over at Cheers Bingo, like our Easter egg hunt for example.

So no matter what you do this Easter, just make sure that it’s something fun, it’s only once a year after all!
